Pick a direction not downwind and start walking, when you hear a call try to hide and lure it in with the appropriate lure or sneak up on it. Sprinting makes a LOT of noise, you will probably not catch any animals doing that except low difficulty does. I’m going to piggyback on this because it’s got some good tips, but hirschfelden is definitely “easier” for beginners because the deer are less spookable and smaller that white/black tail, but still considered 100% integrity for shooting with the starter 243 rifle.

It takes a little bit of time to get the tents setup but once it does it really pays off. Then i reset the time 3 days and then start hunting the hotspots again. 22 rifle a 20ga shotgun and fast travel to my duck zones a couple different times and kill as many ducks as possible until i clear all the hunting pressure on the map except for in my duck zones. Once, i have hunting pressure on my hotspots ill equip a. I have all 10 tents setup in good spots now so thats all i do now.Īlso setup some tents and decoys up around some of the lesser populated lakes so you can travel between them killing ducks which will reset your hunting pressure over the main areas you hunt. Before long you will start to see bigger animals. Reset the time forward a couple days and rinse repeat. Then fast travel to another tent on another lake and then do the same thing. Then just pop in to the tent and kill all the high level animals level 4 and level 7-8’s if you see them, try not to kill enough animals that you delete need zones which is usually 3. If you see a-lot of need zones or animals then put a tent within 50-100 yards of the lake downwind of the animals.

My strategy for this new map was to run to within 250 yards or the lakes then crouch walk all the way around the lake spotting need zones.
